Being branded a coward for abandoning his ship full of over 300 passengers. Captain Vijay Pal Singh, is discharged from duty, humiliated by society and disowned by his parents. Feeling guilty over his cowardice and with low self-esteem, he starts working as a coal miner to forget his past. But it still continues to hunt him, he welcome pain as a punishment. The owner of the mine is Dhanraj Puri, a carefree and irresponsible man whose mine is poorly equipped, with less than sufficient medical supplies, and no facilities for the miners and their families. Vijay trys to save every workers life
in order to overcome his haunted past but to no avil. But one day water forced itself in one of the mining tunnels, endangering the lives of over 400 workers. Vijay along with some of his other colleagues put up a big fight to save each and every workers life. Which at last was successful and Vijay was able to overcome his troubled past.

Branded a coward for abandoning his ship full of 300 passengers, Captain Vijay Pal Singh, is dishonorably discharged, faces public humiliation, and is disowned by his parents. Alone, devastated, and without any aim in life, he takes up work in a distant coal mine and works as a menial laborer just to keep alive - but he is unable to forget nor forgive his cowardice, and welcomes pain as a punishment. The mine run by a businessman named Dhanraj Puri is poorly equipped, with less then sufficient medical supplies, and no facilities for the miners and their families. Then the lives of the coal-miners and their families face a catastrophe as water has forced it's way in to one of the mining tunnels, endangering the lives of 400 miners. Will Vijay be able to rise to the occasion or will he just let history repeat itself and "abandon ship"?

A disgraced Navy Captain, Vijay Pal Singh, being humiliated by society and disowned by his parents for abandoning ship risking the lives of over 300 passengers, started to work at a distant coal mine, he trys hard to overcome his troubled past but to no avail. The coal mine is own and control by Dhanraj Puri, a carefree and irresponsible man whose mine is equipped with poor equipment, less than sufficient medical supplies and lack of facilities. One day water forces itself into one of the mining tunnels endangering the lives of over 400 miners. The workers and there family now faced a disastrous situation with no one to save them. It is now up to Vijay to put up a big fight and save the workers or live up to his cowardice all day in his life.

He welcomes pain as a punishment, the mine is owned by Seth Dhanraj, an irresponsible man who makes lives difficult for the coal miners by giving them poor equipment, less than sufficient medical supplies and lack of facilities. Vijay's past comes to surface when one of the mines is flooded with water endangering the lives of hundreds of workers. But the question remains: Will Vijay sacrifice his life to save the workers or will he once again act like a coward?
