Gori Tere Pyaar Mein (Translation: My Fair Lady, In Your Love) is a 2013 Indian romantic comedy film written and directed by Punit Malhotra. Produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions, the film features Imran Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shraddha Kapoor in pivotal roles.

Development & casting
The movie was announced in 2011. however was delayed due to casting issues. The movie was initially to star Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan. Khan backed out of the project as he was unhappy with the script, and the movie was subsequently offered to Shahid Kapoor. Shahid Kapoor also had scripting issues, and Sonam Kapoor left the project as she didn't want the public to think she was cast due to her relationship with the director. Imran Khan then returned to the project, and Kareena Kapoor was signed as the lead actress. Later Shraddha Kapoor joined the cast in a supporting role. Earlier, actress Nargis Fakhri had been signed on for an item number in the film, however, due to shooting conflicts, Esha Gupta was then cast as a replacement. Imran's wife, Avantika, also featured in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein in a half-second flash.Avantika has featured in as many as three films of Imran, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, I Hate Luv Storys and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and the actor confessed she brought good luck for the films.
Filming
Principal photography began on 27 February 2013 in Bangalore, India.

Music for the film is be provided by Vishal-Shekhar who also worked on Malhotra's last release, I Hate Luv Storys. There will be nine songs in the album. Among these, a wedding song titled "Tooh" sung by Mika Singh, Mamta Sharma & Shruti Pathak was released on 10 October. A large scale village song titled "Chingam chabake" performed by Shankar Mahadevan & Shalmali Kholgade was released on 17 October. On 24 October, another song titled "Dhat Teri Ki" featuring Aditi Singh Sharma & Sanam Puri was released. A romantic ballad sung by Neeti Mohan & Kamal Khan titled "Naina" will be released on 31 October. While on 1 November 2013 the entire album was released digitally.
